SPINNING 
is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor guides you through a series of hills, sprints and jumps. During the class you vary your pace -- sometimes pedaling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps you to focus inwardly and work on your mind as well as your body. Spinning burns serious calories (about 500 in 45 minutes) and offers an awesome aerobic workout that makes your heart pump fast. It also tones your quads, outer thigh muscles abs and arms like nobody's business! And although you follow the general instructions of the Spinning teacher, you are in control when it comes to your pace. You can finish a Spin class, regardless of your fitness level, simply by adjusting your pace or the tension knob on the bike!


PILATES  is a complete process which focuses on lengthening and strengthening your center (abdominals and back) resulting in beautiful posture alignment and structure. After only 9 sessions of our fitness-based pilates, you will see and feel a change in your body. Whether you Spin, Indo-Row, strength train or run, pilates is the perfect compliment to your fitness routine.

STRENGTH TRAINING  helps prevent injury by strengthening muscles, increasing bone density and has been proven to increase metabolic rate. The more muscle you’ve got, the more calories you’ll burn...even at rest.


INDO-ROW one of the fastest growing workouts in fitness, and it all started at Revolution! Using all major muscle groups, the cardiovascular system and the mind, Indo-Row is a leg, core and arm-toning workout that synchronizes everyone as a team, is easy to learn and delivers big results.

CORE BARRE  The Core Barre method uses the ballet barre, weights, and mats to flatten abs, tone the thighs, and tighten the arms. It even helps to lift the buttocks! This is a great way to combine body sculpting with cardio and strength training, using your own body weight as resistance. Aerobic exercises are interchanged with slow stretches to allow the body to recover.


PILATES MAT A great full body workout focusing on core strength, flexibility, balance and length. Workouts are safe yet challenging and emphasize correct posture and alignment. Pilates props may be used for support, challenge, variations and modifications. Come find your "Center" with Pilates mat work for a healthy mind and body.

TRX PLUS   We'll be focusing on Core Stabilization, Strength, Power and Circuit Training using The TRX system, BOSU, bands, weights and more.   Periodization training is so effective because each week the intensity of your training increases to keep your body constantly changing.  This means faster and more notable results both functionally and aesthetically.

YIN YOGA   Also called Taoist Yoga, this discipline employs holding poses much longer than traditional yoga.  It facilitates deep stretching of connective tissue giving permanent sustained results.  This class will focus primarily on opening the hips.  Great for athletes and beginners alike!


NUTRITION COUNSELING  Misti, often referred to as the "go to person" for nutrition issues, provides her clients with customized, realistic nutritional strategies that can generate successful real long term change.

FOAM ROLLER STRETCH CLASS  What every enthusiastic (sometimes overly-enthusiastic) athlete needs...a class designed to help ease muscular tension from over-use and other daily stressors. Yoga, Pilates, ballet, and Myofascial / Active Release techniques are utilized to increase range of motion, help break down scar tissue, improve circulation, and instill a sense of calm. Mats, foam rollers, bands, and other "props" provide variety and promote flexibility. Limited class size so be sure to sign up early!!
 


POST-SPIN STRETCH CLASS  Incorporating his extensive background in dance and yoga, Joseph's 30- minute class focuses on strengthening and stretching your abs, lower back, hips and legs after an intense Spin workout.
