That's what seems to be going around lately. It can be tough staying healthy as the seasons change. Many of us reach for over-the-counter treatments to help with the sniffles and prevent getting sick.  Most of us don't realize there are natural remedies that can help as well, and the ones that I'll be listing are mostly likely in your kitchen pantry right now. 

Check out these three remedies that will help boost your immune system & kick the sickness goodbye:

First thing's first: Cayenne Pepper- it's magical! I add it to everything that I possibly can. No harm can come from a spicy little pepper, right? Cayenne has many benefits for your gut, heart, and beyond. It helps aid the body’s ability to metabolize food and toxins. Ah, hello-- yes, please! A way that I have incorporated Cayenne into my diet is by making lemon water. Simply add a dash of cayenne to your water for a little extra kick. 

Probiotics- Did you know that most of your immune system is in your gut? That's where you want start. You'll want your gut to be in tip top shape, so you'll want to be friends with bacteria. You can find probiotics in fermented food (think: yogurt and sauerkraut), drinks, or in pill form.

Last but not least, Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) Shots. I live off this on a daily basis. I know that Raw ACV can be very strong, but it definitely has its benefits because it is loaded with enzymes as well as beneficial bacteria that help promote intestinal balance in the gut. Taking about a tablespoon or two on daily basis is all you need to help keep your immune system healthy and strong.
